BOG End of Year and Award Presentations – Bell Oil & Gas

As is customary at Bell Oil & Gas, our End-of-Year and Awards Presentation provided an opportunity for the CEO, Dr. Kayode Thomas, to walk the team through a comprehensive review of the year. In his presentation, he reflected on what 2025 looked like for the company, highlighting our wins, acknowledging our challenges, and setting a clear tone for the future. Beyond performance and priorities, the CEO charged the organisation with a timeless but powerful message: the Power of Preparation.

Dr. Thomas began by drawing a clear distinction between three kinds of people: those who make things happen, those who watch things happen, and those who ask “what happened?”. He emphasised that success is never accidental; rather, it is the result of intentional actions, consistent habits, and deliberate preparation. In a fast-evolving industry such as oil and gas, this mindset is not optional; it is essential.

He reinforced that successful people and organisations share common traits: they set clear goals, plan diligently, continuously develop their skills, understand the value of time, and remain consistent and persistent. Preparation, he noted, is what separates intention from achievement and aspiration from results.

He concluded with a powerful reminder that spectacular achievements are always preceded by unspectacular preparation. As Bell Oil & Gas positions itself for recovery, growth, and unprecedented opportunities in 2026 and beyond, the message was clear: if we are not preparing to win, then we are preparing to fail. In his words, “In 2026, heads or tails, we win
